MYOB targets small to medium-sized businesses and is cloud-based as well as offering browser-based accounting products. It handles payroll services, day-to-day accounts or more complex business management, and uses bank feeds, mobile apps and inventory functions. And by the way, MYOB stands for Mind Your Own Business.
RECKON (Quickbooks) provides cloud-based and desktop accounting software for small to medium businesses, bookkeepers and accountants. It provides the usual online services, including payroll services, and works with third-party packages.
